Read MoreThe Club, and the world in general, lost a wonderful person with the passing of William “Bill” Borst. Bill was a devoted member of the Reading Liederkranz and volunteered throughout the year. He was steadfast helper in the kitchen and could be seen serving food at events and working in the Outside kitchen. His dedication to the Club will be sadly missed and events will not be the same without his face greeting fellow members.
Services are scheduled for Thursday March 31st at St. Paul’s Catholic Church at 151 N 9th St in Reading. Viewing begins at 9 AM with a funeral mass starting at 10 AM. A gravesite ceremony will be performed with a luncheon service afterwards at the Reading Liedekranz to celebrate the life of our great friend and member, William “Bill” Borst.
Volunteers are needed. Mark your calendar!
