Ladies Auxiliary Of the Reading Liederkranz German Heritage Scholarship

The mission of the Reading Liederkranz is to uphold and promote the German tradition of language, culture, and family. In keeping with this tradition, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Reading Liederkranz is pleased to continue a scholarship program to assist students of German descent or students of the German language with their educational expenses.

2021’s Scholarship Award Presentation

The Ladies Auxiliary will make its scholarship award of $1000 in the spring. Scholarship applications will be accepted from now until the submission deadline: March 31. The scholarship will be designated for educational expenses for the second semester of an accredited institution—college, university, technical or trade school. This is a one-time, $1000 award to be paid directly to the school in the student’s second semester upon proof of the successful completion of the first semester with a 2.0 GPA.

Scholarship winners will be announced in one of the weekly emails from the club in April. Please read the application guidelines carefully. Only complete applications will be considered.
