We have visitors from Nürtingen, Germany on Sept. 12

On Tuesday, 12 September 2023, a group from Nürtingen, Germany will be at the club for dinner.  We invite all our members to come out and show this group some good German American hospitality. They should be arriving between 5 and 6 pm.  We will have our regular menu and specials available for purchase.

Give Dieter a Hand with Oktoberfest!

Oktoberfest happens with all the strength and effort of our volunteers, but that volunteering begins long before the event!

Everyone’s favorite chicken wizard, Dieter, is looking for help every Wednesday through September 13th starting at 5 p.m. in the outside kitchen to help prepare all the wonderful food so many people love at Oktoberfest.

That’s right the second round of preparing Schnitzels and Goulash is here. The first 2 evenings went well but now we have to also add the Roast Pork to the prep. So if you are handy with a knife or good at flouring and breading or even just dish washing, please we need your help. We will be starting at 5pm and go till we have had enough for the evening. So if you have a knife and a cuting board bring them along or your bare hands to help with the schnitzel breading or pork slicing.

If you’re handy in the kitchen, want to lend a hand, or just have hands, come out and give Dieter a hand getting things ready for our biggest event of the year.

Only a few days left for voting to make us the #1 Oktoberfest in USA TODAY!

You may have received one or two emails lately about our being in the running for the number #1 Oktoberfest in the USA by USA Today. Well the clock is ticking down with voting closing on September 4th.

We’ve won this honor twice in the past (2015 and 2017) and we’re looking to do it again for 2023. Help us get the word out by voting every day and sharing the voting links with your friends, family, and anyone else who enjoys the best Oktoberfest around!

Updates on Member Parking Passes for Oktoberfest

If you are a club member in good standing and wish to apply for a parking pass to use during Oktoberfest, some updates have been posted on the Oktoberfest Parking Pass page.

Questions about Oktoberfest Ticket Packs?

This year we are offering something new for those who want to attend multiple days of Oktoberfest…ticket packs!  These packs get you admission to more than one day while reducing the fees for buying multiple tickets.  You can purchase the ticket packs from the Oktoberfest page here on the web site.

Q: I bought a ticket pack but was only able to print one day. What gives?

A: The system we use for ticketing and events only prints one ticket per multi-day event, so you will want to hold on to your ticket after the first day to get readmitted on the other days of your package.

Q: What happens if I misplace my multi-day ticket?

A: Never fear, we have a master list of purchasers and their packages kept at the front gate to make sure you can get in.

Q: I'm a member and I bought a multi-day ticket.  How can I get parking passes for all the days?

A: Parking passes need to be applied for and purchased individually. We do not offer multi-day parking passes.  Please see the Parking section on the Oktoberfest page for details on how to get a parking pass and who is eligible for one.
